A 13-year-old has been charged with robbery, assault and theft following a violent disorder incident in Llandudno.
Police said three juveniles were arrested after disorder broke out on Mostyn Street on May 5. The street, a busy shopping area in the town centre, was the scene of what officers described as a serious disturbance involving multiple individuals.
The 13-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with robbery, three counts of assault, two offences under Section 4 of the Public Order Act, and theft.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at their next court hearing in the coming days.
A police spokesperson said officers are taking a firm approach to the incident and wider anti-social behaviour in the area.
“We are committed to dealing robustly with any instances of anti-social behaviour and hot spot patrols will continue,” the spokesperson said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
