Local sports clubs are beginning on the road back to recovery after many months of disruption thanks to the lockdown and pandemic.
Colwyn Bay FC are starting their Academy trials from today to try and encourage young people into the game whilst promoting wellbeing and excercise.
The trials which will have had the approval from the Football Association of Wales will held on the Rydal Penrhos Fields in Colwyn Bay on Monday 10th/17th September and again on Wednesday 12th/19th September.
The Foundation Phase trials are aimed at under 8s to 11 year olds and the Youth Phase trials will be held for under 12s to under 15s.
There is also an trials event mainly aimed at 16-19s which will take place at the 4g pitch in Eirias Park. The under 16s will play on Monday 10th/17th September and under 19s on Wednesday 12th/19th September.

The club say they have worked hard to reflect on previous seasons and are enhancing the ways they can make the academy and youth football even stronger to help nurture local talent and benefit young people from our communities.
