RGC will run out at the iconic Cardiff Arms Park this Saturday with silverware firmly in their sights as they contest the Super Rygbi Cymru (SRC) Plate Final.
Their place on Finals Day was sealed in emphatic fashion last weekend with a dominant 42–5 victory over Bridgend at Stadiwm Eirias.
Standing in their way in the 2:30 kick-off will be Swansea, but RGC arrive in Cardiff full of belief and momentum.
With a final spot on the line, RGC delivered one of their most complete displays of the season against Bridgend.
The momentum will be taken into Saturdays game, with RGC coming in with 2 impressive wins, and one more wil clinch them silverware
Winger Sam Jones knows what it takes to win on the big stage. Part of the side that lifted the National Cup back in 2017, he understands both the privilege and the pressure that comes with finals rugby.
“This is a big weekend for RGC. It’s been a while since the club has had a day like this, so it’s something the group is looking forward to.
It’s a great chance for this squad to achieve something together and put their own stamp on what feels like a new era for the club. A lot of hard work has gone in to get us here, and opportunities like this don’t come around often. The focus now is on making the most of it and giving ourselves the best chance to bring something back for the club.”
