Conwy Castle in Conwy, Wales is one of the best preserved medieval castles in Britain. It was my #1 reason to visit Conwy. When you walk through the front gate, you walk back in time, into the Middle Ages and beyond. You can feel the history that took place here. The castle was built at the end of the 13th century by Edward I, King of England, who had conquered Wales. The castle played a key part in in both Welsh and English history, including being involved in several wars over the centuries. Throughout the video, I give you the history of Conwy Castle and added some medieval music to help get you in a medieval mood.
