The requirement to wear face coverings in medical settings such as doctors surgeries and hospitals are expected to end on Monday according to sources close to Welsh Government.
The restrictions that have been in place throughout the Covid-19 pandemic have remained in place despite coverings being not being needed in retail and transport settings for a number of months.
Despite the expected changes in rules, some establishments may still request that you wear coverings where staff feel it may be appropriate to protect workers. Although the restriction may end, it may be still a courtesy to wear one when asked to do so.
