To support the region's recovering economy Busnes@LlandrilloMenai has announced that over 50 professional training programmes will now be subsidised up to 100% of the training cost until 31 August 2021.
Working with the Welsh European Funding Office, they have been able to agree an increase in the subsidy for training available through the Skills for Employers and Employees (SEE) Project. The measure is a response to the Covid-19 pandemic and recognises that skills and training will be key to the economic recovery.
Throughout lockdown Busnes@LlandrilloMenai has also made previously 'paid-for' training and courses available for free - these courses have been tailored to support businesses to respond to challenges, plan for the future and re-open.
The announcement concerning SEE funded training is the latest free or fully subsidised product that is offered. These products are aimed at facilitating an economic bounce-back by giving businesses and their employees the skills and confidence to be successful in the new normal.
Courses available through the SEE project include, but are not limited to, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and NVQs in Care, Construction, Engineering and Hospitality.

The SEE project provides training programmes targeted at business in key sectors across North Wales. The project aims to support 7,000 employees across the region which will help develop key skills needed to grow the regional economy.
The project is a partnership with Coleg Cambria and builds on the success of other ESF programmes such as the Dyfodol project.
All private sector employers from sole traders to large companies based in the counties of Conwy, Gwynedd, Anglesey, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham are eligible to benefit from this new training.
