It's a big congratulations from Bayside to all the boys and girls from our many local primary schools who have worked so hard over past few months planting and growing for Colwyn in Bloom.
Since the start of summer we have heard pupils from Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn, Llandrillo, St. Josephs and Llandrillo-yn-Rhos talking about their eco-gardens and special projects. But despite eveyone's fantastic efforts, there can only be one winner this year!
Last night at the Colwyn in Bloom awards, Ysgol Llandrillo-yn-Rhos won Gold in the special schools award.
They were first in the schools competition and also in the schools art competition.
Colwyn in Bloom helps to fund sustainable planting, floral displays, willow sculptures and other environmental improvements around the Bay of Colwyn area and takes part in the national Wales in Bloom competition.
The town won Gold in the Best Large Town in Wales category earlier this year.
