Twenty two local sports and voluntary organisations have been awarded funding from the latest round of the Conwy Community Chest. A total of £23,000 invested into sport and physical activity since April 2019.
The Community Chest Grant Scheme provides financial assistance of up to £1500 for voluntary, community and any organisation that promotes sport and physical activity in the County Borough of Conwy.
Equipment, kit, coach education, facility hire, first aid courses and promotion are all eligible for funding and since it was established in 1999, Community Chest has supported over 1700 projects.
The next deadline for applications is 30 July 2019.
