Three goals in eight second half minutes saw ten man Colwyn Bay crumble to a 5-0 defeat away to Penybont.

Some fine saves by Reece Trueman had kept them in the game at half-time, but a penalty and a second yellow card for Tommy Creamer saw the floodgates open.

Reece saved superbly from Chris Venables and Mael Davies (twice) to keep a dominant Penybont to just a one goal lead at the interval, scored by Lewys Ware, before the 51st minute penalty scored by Chris Venables.

Keyon Reffell added a third three minutes late and Kane Oweb added the fourth with a great strike on 59 minutes.

Bay’s 10 men could offer little in attack and they conceded a fifth goal, by young substitute Ioan Phillips, nine minutes from the end.
