Manager Alan Morgan has lined up his first signing of the summer with a 18-year-old midfielder Ethan Devine agreeing to join the Seagulls from newly promoted Tranmere Rovers.
Ethan came through the youth team at Prenton Park, but has not figured in the first team and has turned down a pro contract in search of regular football.
Club coach Neil Coverley says the Bay are delighted to have beaten off interest from six other North West clubs to get the young midfielder and reports that 12 players are so far on board for next season, including last season’s Supporters and Players’ Player of the Season Matt Cooper and Manager’s award winner Kyle Jacobs.
Other players are Kris Leigh, Gaz Grant, Louis Barnes, Lass Mendes, Luke Horrocks, Will Booth, Tom McCreadie, Danny Andrews and Josh Brizell.
Once-a-week fitness and conditioning work begins on June 6th in Chester prior to the resumption of full training on June 30th.
