A popular Colwyn Bay Wine Bar is closing its doors after being beset with problems following an initial problem with its drains.
After six months of trying to reopen, Briggs Wine Bar on Penrhyn Road has unfortunately decided to close its doors for good.
The closure was initially caused by a collapsed waste pipe, but repairs were completed in April.
However, financial difficulties brought about by a problematic insurance claim prevented the business from reopening.
Despite the support and kind words from the community, the owners Hayley and Jay have made the difficult decision to permanently shut down.
