All of of the community in the Bay of Colwyn are pulling together at these challenging times and the team at NWAMI on Greenfield Road are helping to ensure that people of all ethnicities recieve vital help.

NWAMI's mission is to integrate the diverse community to promote community cohesion, social inclusion and reducing hate crime. They closely work with Police, Local Authority, Cohesion teams, local and national voluntary services.

During these times they are working hard to support ethnic minorities, marginalised and vulnerable people during the Covid-19 lockdown.

They are now offering support to isolated individuals and families of BAME origin, providing online support services for marginalised and vulnerable people including Bangladeshi and Syrian families for example.

NWAMI will also provide support to attend hospital appointments, get access to banks/banking and transport to other essential appointments and can help source ethnic and special diet related food.

Support is offered principally in Colwyn Bay Town Council area but may extend to further 10 miles area in case of urgent need.

For help and assistance please call 01492 530110. The project is one of many community projects supported by the Gwynt-y-Mor Community Fund.
