After announcing his shock resignation late last month, ex- Colwyn Bay FC Chairman David Titchiner has wrote to members and fans to reassure them that his company 4 Crosses Construction will continue to support and invest in the club.

His heartfelt statement came as welcome news to many people anxious to learn about the club's future finances.

David Titchiner's statement reads:

"Due to the recent decline in my general health, I unfortunately had to step away from the daily running of the club, rather abruptly. This was not an easy decision to take, what with the club having played a large part in my life over the past several years.

As a long-term fan, my loyalty towards the club and my desire to see it do well is still as strong now as it ever has been.

With that in mind, I’d like to reassure supporters that myself and my brother Brian at Four Crosses Construction – the club’s major sponsor for the past number of seasons – will continue to invest a significant amount into Colwyn Bay Football Club, as we’ve done before, to ensure stability at the club.

I’d also like to put on record my thanks to Acting Chairman, Bill Murray, and the current board members, who have ensured the club remains on an even keel during a time of upheaval.

I wish the management team and players good luck for the season and I hope to see you at a few games!"
