Shop keepers in Rhos-on-Sea have provided a real boost to the community with a wonderfully colourful Christmas competition which has brightened up the village and put smiles on the faces of local shoppers.
For the past 5 years the Rhos on Sea Traders Association have organised a Christmas Window Competition and this year some of the most innovative, beautiful and creative ideas have been on display.
This year Luna Flowers on Colwyn Avenue won first prize. Second went to Little Lilly on Everard Road with Details on Rhos Road winning third prize.
The winning shops have now proudly displayed prize certificates in their shop window.
There were also many highly commended entries, so much so that the indepndent judges found it a very challenging competition to judge.
Councillor Glynys Baker thanked everyone in ROSTA for taking part and said that the enthusiasm that had been shown from all the shopkeepers had been great.
