Two people have been taken to hospital after their car plummeted onto the beach near Rhos-on-Sea earlier this evening.
Emergency services were called to free two adults whose car crashed through the white safety railings that run alonside the sea wall. The condition of the occupants and the severity of their injuries have not yet been released.
It also unclear what may have caused the accident with witnesses reporting that the car fell onto the rocks before coming to a standstill with the car facing the promenade wall.
North Wales Police have appealled for witnesses to come forward to help them piece together the circumstances surrounding the crash. It is thought that no other vehicles were involved in the accident although all possibilities are being explored.
