Rhyl’s all-weather Shannon class lifeboat was tasked by HM Coastguard at 11.34am on Monday to reports of a medical emergency on board the casualty vessel.
The charity’s lifeboat arrived on scene at 12.00pm and located the casualty vessel. One person was brought aboard the lifeboat, and casualty care was administered before returning the person to the lifeboat station where they were taken to hospital for further medical assistance.
Martin Jones, Rhyl RNLI Coxswain said: "I'd like to thank the volunteer crew once again for their service, we were on scene quickly and well prepared, utilising our well practised casualty care training, leading to a successful rescue.
"Being correctly prepared at sea, having a VHF radio, flares and correct life saving equipment are absolutely essential and this rescue is a brilliant example of this."
