A quizmaster and dedicated supporter of Llandudno Lifeboat has raised an impressive amount of money for the charity.

Chris Ward raised £792 through his quizzes in the local area, including a general knowledge quiz in support of the RNLI at Gwesty Links at the end of October.

Over the past seven months, Chris’ loyal quizzers have donated their prize money to support this vital cause.

The total was generously rounded up to £1,000 by the Knights Templar, a charitable organisation committed to raising funds for worthy causes that Chris is also a member of.

Last week, members of the Knights Templar visited Llandudno Lifeboat Station. During the visit, the group presented a cheque for £1,000 to Capt. Marcus Elliot, Lifeboat Operations Manager, and Sue Perkins, Fundraising Chair for the station.

The donation will go towards supporting the lifeboat’s lifesaving operations and to help with saving lives at sea.
