Conwy Voluntary Services Council (CVSC) have extended their youth grant closing date to the end of this month to give more young people the opportunity to take part.

The grants have been designed to encourage young people between 15-24 to devise a project that attracts people of similar ages to volunteer for the benefit of their community.

The fund is administered by CVSC on behalf of WCVA and the Welsh Government.

The successful applications will be chosen by a panel of young people living in the area and the fund has been designed to provide the means for young people to develop their own initiative, take an active role in their communities and involve/recruit young people to take part in the project

Grants from between £150 and £1000 are available and application must be from young people aged 15-24 inside groups based in the Conwy area.

The grants application round will now close on 31st July 2020 and applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of their application and will be notified of the panel’s result/decision will follow within 3 weeks of the closing date.
