A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash on Anglesey, prompting an appeal for witnesses from North Wales Police.
Emergency services were called shortly after 12pm on yesterday (Saturday 27 June) to the A5025 at Burwen, between Bull Bay and Cemaes, following a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.
Despite the efforts of emergency crews, the male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner has been informed and the man’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers.
Inspector Matt Halstead said: “I share my deepest condolences with the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
“I am appealing to anyone who was driving along the A5025 in Burwen shortly before midday today and who may have witnessed the incident – or who may have relevant dash-cam footage – to come forward as soon as possible.
“Any information could be vital to the investigation.”
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and collision investigators carried out enquiries.
