Road closures ahead for Llandudno Colonnade works

A road closure is in place on Alex Munro Way in Llandudno for up to five weeks as work continues on the refurbishment of The Colonnade.

The closure will be in effect on weekdays during specified times, but the road will be open on weekends.

Pedestrian access on Happy Valley Road will be available, and local businesses along the route will remain open as usual.

Week commencing 10th November, the closure will be between the following times:

Monday           8am-3.30pm   
Tuesday          8am-3.30pm   
Wednesday     8am-1.30pm   
Thursday         8am-3pm        
Friday              8am-2.30pm
 
From 17th November onwards, the closure will be between the following times:

Mondays         8am-3.30pm   
Tuesdays        8am-3.30pm   
Wednesdays   8am-1.30pm   
Thursdays       8am-3pm        
Fridays            8am-5.30pm 

A spokesperson for the Council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as this repair work is carried out.
 
"Conwy County Borough Council secured £800,000 earlier this year from the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund and the Welsh Government Brilliant Basics Fund for a major restoration of the historic structure."
