RGC have postponed Saturday’s home fixture against Swansea following the death of player Jack Davies, aged 24, as a mark of respect.

The North Wales rugby club said Jack was part of the RGC family and that its thoughts remained with his family, friends and everyone who knew him.

The announcement comes as the club and the wider rugby community mourn his passing.

RGC said: “Our thoughts remain firmly with his family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time.”

The postponement means Saturday’s scheduled match against Swansea at Stadiwm Eirias will not go ahead as planned. Details of a rearranged fixture have not yet been announced.
