Flying by Hawk T2 training aircraft at RAF Valley on Anglesey is due to resume this afternoon, following a review of safety measures after last month's crash.
The decision comes after a Hawk T2 crashed near Pencarnisiog on 23 September, shortly after taking off from the RAF base. Both pilots ejected from the aircraft before it came down and were taken for medical assessment.
The crash prompted a pause in Hawk flying while the circumstances were examined.
In a statement, RAF Valley said the decision to resume flights had been taken at the highest level following extensive scrutiny of the information available and appropriate safety assurance activity.
The station said the necessary safety controls and assurance measures were now in place to support a measured and controlled return to flying.
It added that the safety of aircrew, personnel and local communities remained paramount.
The investigation into the September incident will continue alongside the resumption of normal flying and ongoing safety assurance processes.
RAF Valley, on Anglesey, is a key centre for military fast-jet training, with Hawk aircraft used to train RAF pilots.
