Llandudno RNLI's inshore lifeboat crew came to the aid of a motor cruiser pinned against the breakwater at Rhos-on-Sea in challenging sea conditions.
The 22ft vessel, carrying one person, was reported in difficulty on Friday morning, 9 October, prompting the launch of the lifeboat at 10.07am.
A strong westerly wind meant conditions were relatively sheltered in Llandudno Bay, but the sea beyond the shelter of the Great Orme was moderate to rough.
The lifeboat crew made good progress towards Rhos-on-Sea before locating the cruiser.
Two crew members were transferred aboard the vessel. One checked the person's welfare and assessed whether first aid was needed, while the other prepared the cruiser for a tow.
Once the boat had been secured alongside the lifeboat, the crew towed it safely to its mooring and secured it.
The person on board was then taken ashore, where Llandudno Coastguard carried out further welfare checks.
With the incident concluded, the lifeboat made its way back to Llandudno Lifeboat Station through the challenging conditions.
The lifeboat was recovered at 11.36am, bringing the operation to a close.
