A drug dealer who hid over £3000 worth of class A drugs in a backpack has been jailed.

Adam Bowen, of St Seiriols Close, Holyhead, appeared for sentencing at Caernarfon Crown Court on 17 July.

The 42-year-old had previously admitted to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply MDMA, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of ecstasy and possession of criminal property.

On 7 February 2024, officers conducted a warrant at Bowen’s address where they discovered over £1500 in cash.

Officers then searched Bowen’s car and found a backpack containing a significant amount of cocaine and MDMA with an estimated street value of over £3,300.

Bowen’s phone was also seized which contained evidence that he was selling drugs between August 2023 and February 2024.

He was jailed for five years and four months.
