Family day this July in beautiful Llanrwst for kids hospice

A day of great entertainment for kids and adults will be had in the Conwy Valley later this month.

Following on from the huge success of last year’s event, a Llanrwst holiday park is hosting another family fun day and raising money for a local children’s hospice.

On Saturday 29th July, the Rwst Holiday Lodges will open their fields to the community for their annual Big Summer Event, a day filled with music, food, shopping, kids’ games and much more, with pitch fees and a slice of the ticket price going to Hope House and TÅ· Gobaith.

Running from Noon until 10pm there promises to be something for everyone as Site Manager, Mia Lynch explains: “We’re really proud to be supporting this great local charity and hope the community will once again come out in force for a great day in Llanrwst’s calendar.

“We will have local food and drink stalls with Bragdy Nant running the bar, market stalls with handmade goods from independent retailers, and there will be dancing well into the evening with live music and performances.

“Children are more than welcome as we’ve got enough planned to keep them entertained for hours on end with face painting, hair braiding, bouncy castle, games, outdoor activities, and so much more.

“Kids aged 16 or younger can even join us for free and we look forward to welcoming everybody.”

Fundraising Team Leader for TÅ· Gobaith, Sarah Ritchie said: “We are so grateful to the team at Rwst for thinking of us.

“With so many families in the vicinity accessing our care and support, the funds they raise will be of real benefit to their community.

“We’ll be there on the day to enjoy the fun and chat to friends old and new about our services. We can’t wait.”

The dog-friendly event is on Saturday 29th July, 12-10pm, Betws Road, Llanrwst, LL26 0HE. Adults 16+ are £5. Book yours via this link.
