Conwy County Council has released information today about the cash payment due to many local residents as a result of the cost of living crisis.

"Following the Welsh Government’s announcement that Council Tax payers in Bands A to D will receive a £150 payment, we’re currently working to ensure payments can be made as soon as possible.
 
"Information will be published online once the scheme is confirmed. In the meantime, please bear with us while we focus on making the appropriate arrangements.
 
"If you already pay by Direct Debit your payment will be made automatically, you won’t need to get in touch or complete a registration form. 
 
"Direct Debit is the most efficient way to pay your Council Tax and receive the cost of living payment.  To setup a Direct Debit please visit www.conwy.gov.uk/counciltax."
