The Seagulls came from behind to consolidate their top five spot in the JD Cymru Premier with a 3-1 home win over Llanelli Town at the Blue Turtle Arena.
The visitors took the lead on 30 minutes, but two goals in five minutes by Jordan Davies and Louis Robles turned the game around before half-time and Jamie Cumming sealed the points with the third goal in the second half.
The win lifts Bay three points clear of sixth placed Cardiff Met and four clear of seventh-placed Barry Town Utd.
Jordan Davies blasted an early chance over the bar and Llanelli had problems with Bay’s long throws, but they gradually grew into the game and after Alex Brown had made a great save diving to his left, the visitors took the lead on the half hour when Tristan Jenkins’ shot from the edge of the area found the bottom corner of the net.
The Bay, however, responded well and after Jordan Davies had squeezed the ball in from a tight angle for the equaliser on 38 minutes, Louis Robles touched home an Ethan Roberts cross five minutes later to make it 2-1 at half-time.
The Bay got the ball in the net again early in the second half, only for the linesman to rule the score out for offside, and Jordan Davies headed a great chance straight at the keeper from 10 yards.
The points were sealed on 72 minutes when Jamie Cumming lobbed in from distance after Llanelli keeper Alex Pennock had come off his line to punch the ball away.
Substitute Matty Hill headed another chance over the bar from Issa Kargbo’s cross in the closing minutes.
An important win for Bay with the squad hit by suspensions and injuries.
