Nine-year-old Charlie Perry-Hargreaves, battling asthma, raised £900 with a marathon coastal walk in North Wales for TÅ· Gobaith.
Supported by his mum Victoria, he covered 52,000 steps in 9.5 hours from Prestatyn Sailing Club to Old Colwyn.
Joined by his twin sister for part of the hike, Charlie finished just before dark and was welcomed at the end by his family with a special banner and trophy.
Charlie took it all in his stride and was greeted at the finish by grandparents, dad Gareth, Tabitha and younger sister Sofia with a special banner and trophy.
Fundraiser Nicky Eyes shared: “Wow, what an inspirational effort by a brave young man.
“Well done Charlie and Victoria, we’re so grateful for the wonderful amount raised.
“Every penny will go directly to supporting local children and families living with a life-threatening condition.”
