Colwyn Bay Manager Steve Evans says he expects all his new signings to be available for the Seagulls’ opening pre-season friendly away to Flint Mountain FC at the Essity Stadium on Friday (July 7th, 7:30pm kick-off),
Although Flint Mountain play two tiers below the Bay, they will pose challenging opponents having already had three pre-season games in which they have scored an impressive 17 goals.
Manager Aden Shannon has made some key summer signings, most notably experienced striker Mike Hayes as player/coach from Connah’s Quay Nomads.
He was playing Cymru Premier football last season and has had spells at the top level with Caernarfon Town, Bala Town and Airbus UK.
Another striker, Tom Ruffer, came through the Chester Academy and has had spells with Runcorn Linnets, Runcorn Town and Burscough in the English pyramid.
