"Lend Me A Tenor"

Forrest Gump said "Life Is Like A Box of Chocolates; You Never Know What You Are Going To Get!" I awoke this morning just thinking which work out I will subject my body to when at 8.40 am I receive a Facebook message from Dave Newington, Touring Conductor for The Ten Tenors who was in desperate need of a tenor backing singer for a traditional Welsh song track that he was putting down at 10.30 am. Dave is the accompanist to Men Aloud with whom I also sing. I protested back and forth until I succumbed. I agreed at 9.50 am and arrived at Move Records recording studio in Eaglemont at 10.35 am.

It was the best three hours I could have spent. I hope you enjoy the "making of" video. I have heard the final mix and it is awesome. We recorded the Tenor, Baritone and Bass sections as a group then the recording was multi-tracked. Thanks Maestro Kate Sadler! Well done Dave! Well done Team!
