SEASIDE SYMPHONY A Symphonic Impression of the Seaside at Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales Music by Robert Green, 2018.
This work forms an impression of the bustling, coastline at Rhos-on-Sea, in North Wales. The shimmering waterfront is evoked in part by water instruments whose contents are from that precise beach, and percussion instruments creating an ambient impression of ebbing and receding water. The variety of textures visible, and human and wildlife activities occurring, provide ample interest for the observer at the beach, and captivate the attention of a wandering eye.
