We only had three days in North Wales so we needed to make the most of our time. We chose a day tour of the Snowdonia region with Celticos. We had the best guide, Carl Mather, an educator, who drove us around for 5-6 hours and gave us so much great information about the history of Wales. We learned about the Welsh language and the Welsh battle for independence against Britain. We started in Conwy where we were staying, drove through Bangor, the oldest city in Wales, drove over the historical Menai Suspension Bridge and Britannia Bridge, visited the train station with the longest name in the world!, and came face-to-face with Caernarfon Castle, built by King Edward I of England in the late 13th century. All in all, a fantastic and informative tour of North Wales!
