July 12, 2019 - 1262 views

The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust will hold its Big Community Conversation (BCC) on the island of Anglesey on next week for the very first time and is inviting all members of the public in Colwyn Bay and Conwy to get involved.

The event on July 18th is part of the Trust’s Annual General Meeting and will take place at the Menai Science Park and  will start at 1.30pm and finish at 3.45pm. A board meeting will take place in the morning.

Members of the public will be able to ask any questions they may have to the Trust’s executives. Members of the Trust’s Board will be in attendance, including executive and non-executive directors.

Each year, the BCC is held in a different location across Wales and aims to give the chance to all Welsh communities to speak directly to their ambulance service.

“This is going to be a fantastic day” commented Martin Woodford, Chairman at the Welsh Ambulance Service.

“Each year we are delighted to engage with the people of Wales and we are looking forward to having this meeting on Anglesey for the very first time.

"The whole board will be there – this is a unique opportunity for the members of the public to ask questions and hear about our long term plans. We hope that many will come along.”

In order to make your attendance as comfortable as possible, the Trust is asking that anyone planning to attend to confirm in advance with Laura Abraham in the Communications Team by e-mailing Laura.Abraham@wales.nhs.uk.
