Road improvement work is set to happen across the area this week and as ever, motorists are being warned to factor in short delays to journey times.
Work will begin this Tuesday August 13th at 8am on the B5106, Llanrwst Road “Ioloyn Park”, Conwy until Saturday 17th August.
This work which will include road surface dressing, will take place from from Gyffin to The Groes Inn.
The road will not be closed for this work. Traffic will be managed by Stop/Go boards with a convoy vehicle escorting traffic through the sites. There will be access to the caravan parks.
On Wednesday work will start on the B5106, Gwydyr Road, Dolgarrog from 8am until Sunday evening.
The new road surface dressing work will take place from the bridge near Conwy Maze, towards Surf Snowdonia.
A road closure is set however for Ffordd Sgriven, Ty’n y Groes to Rowen with work starting at 8am on Wednesday 14 August 2019 until Sunday evening, 18th August. Diversions will be in place.
Finally there will be another road closure for road dressing work on Bodnant Road (Bodnant Gardens to Eglwysbach) from 8am Thursday 15th August until Monday 19th August at 5pm.
Resurfacing will take place from 15th August, from Bodnant Gardens to Ty Gwyn Junction, Eglwysbach.
The road will be closed for this work with signed diversion in place. Bodnant Gardens will be open for visitors as usual.
