The Seagulls have announced that Tom McCready has returned to the club after his transfer back from Runcorn Linnets was completed today.

The 29-year-old, who has made 81 appearances for Colwyn Bay and scored 23 goals, joined Runcorn in October in order to start playing football again, and was reported to have been outstanding in their Boxing Day win at Prescot Cables.

Bay boss Craig Hogg commented: "Tom has been a great servant for this club and everyone here knows the type of person and football player he is.

"To now have him back after his short spell playing in England is great news and we are all delighted.

"I would like to thank manager Calum McIntyre and all at Runcorn Linnets for their professionalism on many subject matters in recent months.

"Our clubs have developed a really strong relationship and this has been a big positive to come out of this awful pandemic.

"I thank Calum and his club for that and sincerely wish them all the very best."
