Earlier this year Oriel Colwyn ran workshops for a group made up of people from Woody's Lodge in Eirias Park and Disability Arts Cymru with a goal of creating work to exhibit at a forthcoming festival.

It has been announced that the fruits of this project will be now be on display as part of a special fringe exhibition marking the Northern Eye photography event in Colwyn Bay from 7th-20th October.

The workshop’s primary focus was to bring people together using their love of photography as a uniting force, helping them create in their everyday environment from the objects around them.

People taking part and now exhibiting include Peter Manning, Hugh Rowlands, Marcus Townley, Martin Robertson, Matt Shields, Graham Jones, Lee Green, Dave Peacock, Linda Hurst, Emily Jane-Hillman, Mitchell Bradley-Williams, Lowri Larsen, Sarah Forbes and Roy Barry.

'Things Are Looking up' is their group show and has been supported by Oriel Colwyn, Disability Arts Cymru and funded by Conwy Council.
