A local adult hospice is looking for running enthusiasts to join their Hospice Heroes team and take on a half marathon challenge.

St David’s Hospice have teamed up with event organisers Run Wales and have 20 free places for St David’s Hospice supporters who would like to take part in the Three Castles Series and raise funds for the charity.

Hospice Conwy Area Fundraiser, James Wilde explains:

“Whether you’re an advanced runner, enjoying park run life, social running or want to set yourself a challenge, then taking part in one or all of half marathon in the Three Castle Series runs is for you.

“Running for a local charity and raising sponsorship will give you a tremendous amount of pleasure and satisfaction knowing that every step run and every pound donated will be making a difference to local people with an advanced illness or in need of end of life care.”

The half marathon series includes the Snowdonia Half Marathon on the 19th May, Bangor Half Marathon on 6th October and the newly named, St David’s Hospice Conwy Half Marathon on 17th November. Each participant running for the Hospice will receive their place for free, in return for a minimum sponsorship.

You can choose to take part in one half marathon (minimum sponsorship level for Snowdon & Bangor £75 each and Conwy £100), or all three to complete the series (£150 minimum sponsorship for all three)
