Snow returns to create A55 problems

March 08, 2018 - 1195 views

Just when you thought that the Beast had gone back to the East after last week's on-slaught of snow, North Wales awoke this morning to find another icy blast awaiting.

The bad weather created delays on the A55 and the Conwy Valley Road between Tal-y-Cafn and Llanrwst was closed during morning rush-hour. Parts of the Llanrwst Road from Colwyn Bay to Llanrwst were impassable.

Thankfully the Met Office are telling us that the bad weather is over for now and we should see temperatures increasing to a balmy 7 degrees over the weekend. By recent standards that's quite warm!
