In a year that has been a bit short of good news, Llandudno Rotary is delighted to announce that it has made the first round of awards from the Community Chest.
Llandudno Rotary Community Chest was established this year as a way of getting funds to small local groups for whom a few hundred pounds might make a huge difference.
In September the club invited local groups to bid by the end of November and received eight applications, all from worthy local enterprises trying to make life a little better in LL30 or LL31 Llandudno, Deganwy and Llandudno Junction areas.
They have announced the following awards:-
TV Conwy £200
Penrhyn Bay FC £200
Llandudno FC £200
Llandudno Junction Jnr. FC £200
Ormeside Scout Group £100
Llandudno Cricket Club £100
Llandudno Rotary would like to thank all those who applied, including the two unsuccessful applicants, who they are happy to consider again in their second round, currently scheduled with a closing date of 31st May 2021.
