Officers investigating an incident in which a young child was hit by a cyclist on a pedal assisted electric bike on Tuesday evening are appealing for information.
At approximately 5.50pm on Tuesday 17th September, a child was struck by an electric bike on a footpath in the Tip lane area of Prestatyn. The child subsequently required hospital treatment.
North Wales Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them via their live webchat online, or on 101.
Sgt Emlyn Hughes of the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit said: “I would like to directly appeal to the rider of the bike to come forward in order that we can determine the circumstances of this incident, which saw a child require admission to hospital due to their injuries.
“Anyone with information which could help our investigation should get in touch as soon as possible quoting ref Q141204.”
