North Wales Police have confirmed that they have charged a 15 year old teenager with attempted murder following an alledged knife attack at a Colwyn Bay school earlier this week.
Police have said that the boy wil appear before magistrates in Llandudno today charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon 'in a school and in public places'.
The head of Ysgol Eirias Sarah Sutton was quick to reassure parents that the incident was a rare occurence and that the school is taking the matter very seriously. She urged any parents with concerns to contact her personally.
