Music fans with an interest in artists from the Brit Pop era are looking forward to a rare visit from an icon of the period.
Venue Cymru has just announced that former Oasis star Noel Gallagher is due to play for one night only on Wednesday May 8th when he brings his band High Flying Birds to Llandudno.
He will be joined by guest star Gaz Coombes former lead singer and guitarist of rock band Supergrass.
Noel is currently recording new material in studios in London and LA, he’s also announcing a short run of all seated shows in Britain before heading to the Far East on tour.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, will also be calling in at Edinburgh, Hull and a first time ever at London’s Palladium.
His band's visit to North Wales is a chance for fans to catch Noel’s 11 piece line up in more intimate surroundings where new material, currently being recorded, is likely to get an airing.
Organisers expect tickets to sell out quickly and have issued a strict limit on the numbers that can be bought by one person. There are also conditions on buyers to ensure that tickets are not sold on or touted for profit and gain.
Tickets go on sale via Venue Cymru this Monday (18th February) at 10am.
