Network event to empower more Women leaders in sport

Following on from the success of the very first Women in Sport North Wales Conference back in June at Surf Snowdonia, Network She has set up a special event to empower more women and girls to take part in sport and become leaders in their field.

This Friday from 12.30pm, a special event will be held for local people in Conwy and Colwyn Bay to meet  some of the sports men and women, competitors, coaches and general enthusiasts who have taken up the challenge of being an Ambassador for Women in Sport in North Wales.

Come and meet those who deliver a variety of sporting initiatives across the region, find out just what is available and how you can get involved.

Perhaps you run a club, play for a team or are just genuinely looking to part take in a sport or activity to improve your general health and wellbeing. Come along and find out more about how you can get involved. There's also an invitation for local companies and businesses that wants to help, support or sponsor a team or individual. 

The event will be held at North Wales Honda on Mostyn Broadway, Llandudno between 12.30 - 2pm. There is free entry to the event although donations in lieu of the Network She Foundation supporting women and young girls in sport would be welcomed.

Network She was founded in 2007 by Ruth Lloyd-Williams and opens up access to a wide range of resources to a network of contacts and associates from across the country and beyond. 

The organisation will be celebrates 10 years of making a difference, creating connections, opening doors and continuing to bring motivation, inspiration, opportunity and fun to the women who mean business.
