A local dignitary was the special guest speaker at last week's Rydal Penrhos Business Club networking event.

Cllr Stephen Williams, Mayor of Colwyn Bay, gave a special address at the networking lunch and spoke with Business Club members at Haus on Penrhyn Road.

During his talk, Cllr Williams spoke of the need for businesses in the region to “work together” as they continue to make Colwyn Bay a “destination of choice that people will come to”.

Those in attendance also enjoyed a lavish two-course lunch prepared by Chris Jones, former head chef at Bryn Williams’ Porth Eirias Bistro.

Alumni and Development director Sarah Ritchie, said: “It was a very worthwhile event and I would like to thank Gail at Haus for hosting us and to Chris for putting on a fantastic meal for us.”

The Rydal Penrhos Business Club is a valuable networking forum as well as a unique opportunity to promote services to the school community.

Rydal Penrhos Business Club membership is absolutely free, and all parents, former pupils and friends of the school are welcome to join.
