Local sailor starts season with major competition win

A well known local sailor has just kicked off the new sailing season in style with a superb competition win.

Max Todd took his place in the field at the first Waszp UK Grand Prix of the season at Grafam Water Sailing Club on Saturday April 13th and Sunday 14th.

Max tackled the Baltic temperatures and blustering conditions superbly throughout the series opener, and he put himself in a commanding position with victory in the first two races at the event.

He secured a series of high finished during day two at the event, which saw emerge victorious overall as a result of her exceptional display ahead of what promises to be a very busy summer for the ambitious sailor.

This is the latest in a series of outstanding recent achievements from Mr Todd, who has played a leading role in the phenomenal recent success of Rydal Penrhos’ RYA Accredited sailing programme, which has produced a host of national and international sailors in recent years.
