In April North Wales Police launched the Big Easy campaign to show people how easy it is to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Since then the campaign has received a great deal of attention and by now most people will have seen the posters and social media posts.
However North Wales Police are still receiving a number of reports where properties and vehicles have been left insecure and often with valuables on display.
In an effort to further promote the campaign the force Community Safety Department has teamed up with Crimestoppers and P.A.C.T. (Police and Community Trust) to produce posters that will be displayed in towns across the region.
Sergeant Beth Jones of Central Community Safety said: “We have had a great response to the Big Easy so far, but we need to promote our message further as we are still seeing crimes reported that could have been avoided.”
David Evans Project Manager for PACT said “We are delighted to be a part of the Big Easy campaign that promotes the prevention of crime. Neighbourhood Policing Teams and partners are actively promoting the Big Easy message in communities across North Wales and it is good to see this crime prevention initiative gathering momentum.
