Hopes pinned on RGC's Cardiff challenge

November 06, 2018

RGC are back in action after a rest week, and they head to Cardiff this Friday evening.

It is a chance for the Gogs to pick up another win on the road in front of the Scrum V cameras (last time they featured on BBC Two they won at Pontypridd).

Last season this fixture also featured on television, when RGC impressed in the 61-24 victory on Easter Monday.  The man of the match on that day was Evan Yardley and he knows another performance is needed by his side

“We knew every game was going to be hard this year as we have found out in the beginning part of season if we are not playing to our best then it will be hard to pick to up points.”

“As a group we need to be at our very best against Cardiff as they are on a good run of games. It’s going to be a physical challenge but one we are all looking forward to”

The hosts are 4 points ahead of RGC in the league, sitting in 5th place and are unbeaten in 5 games. Last time out RGC got back to winning ways with the win against Bargoed, and will be looking to close the gap on the top 6, especially with 2 home games to follow later in November.
