Colwyn Bay's first micropub on Penrhyn Road has been voted by the Campaign for Real Ale as the very best in their Abercolwyn region.
In a recent list of awards the innovative and unique Bay Hop was decribed as one of the best in Wales for its range of Welsh ales, ciders and real ale. It was awarded Welsh pub of the year in 2017.
Hosts Chris and Claire opened The Bay Hop in August 2016 having seen the growth of micropubs in their native Teesside. The Bay Hop has quickly established itself as a destination for the local community and visitors alike.
