Colwyn Bay Football Club's manager Craig Hogg has asked fans to continue to back the players and support the club while the board consider their options over the managerial position following the decision to release Alan Morgan for economic reasons.
“The focus right now both for myself and Neil (Coverley) is to make sure this group of players is ready for the upcoming games away to Clitheroe  and Buxton which we have been asked to take care of,” he said.
“I’m confident the players will apply themselves in the right way and can put on a performance that all connected to the club can be proud of.”
Hoggy admitted it had been a tough weekend.
“I was disappointed when I was told that Alan was no longer the manager. Everyone knows my working background with him and that he is also a personal friend. Alan is a good man and good coach. I know he will be on the radar of many clubs and I thank him for giving me the opportunity to work with him again at the Bay."
“We now have to  move forward quickly as a dressing room, until a permanent managerial decision has been made. I’ll be looking for continuation of the many good things I feel we have shown in recent games, but we have to improve on certain aspects of our play too. It’s now my responsibility after being asked to take caretaker charge, to make sure this happens during the interim period."
“A process of negotiations with several players of interest had already started under Alan and that process will continue. I would ask the fans to continue to back the players as you always have. They will give you everything and our dressing room will earn the right to play and we will earn the right to put points on the board.”
