Conwy's Social Care and Education Service are organising an information session for parents and carers linked to the Additional Learning Needs Transformation Programme across Wales.
The session will be held online and will provide information and advice to help parents/carers contribute at Person Centred Review meetings and discussions.
Cllr Julie Fallon, Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Education is urging parents and carers to take part.
She said, “This session will be invaluable if you’re likely to be attending review meetings with, or on behalf of, a child or young person. Review meetings offer an important opportunity to talk about your child’s needs, and also their strengths, ambitions and how best to support them.
“This online session will help you know what to expect from a review meeting and how to get the best out of it.”
All parents/carers are welcome.
This session will take place on Thursday 4 February 2021 between 1-2pm.
To join the session, send your name and e-mail address to ALN@conwy.gov.uk no later than 21 January 2021.
Once your place has been confirmed, a link will be sent for the online session.
